Vintage Blue Sapphire by Lynette
Launched in 1944, it is classified as an aldehydic floral fragrance for women. Blue Sapphire was created for five and dime stores to rival the Perfume Houses of the time period.
Top notes: aldehydes, green notes, fruit notes, saffron
Middle notes: carnation, rose, ylang ylang, jasmine, spices, honey, violet, tuberose, orange blossom
Base notes: amber, musk, sandalwood, vetiver, oakmoss, vanilla, benzoin
This bottle is from my own private collection, it is still wearable and the smell is intact. To me this is a warm and cozy powdery floral. It has been kept in a dark cabinet away from sunlight. The bottle itself is absolutely gorgeous. Label has slight fading and cord still remains. Perfume that remains is 75% full.
